It’s Official
Rosie and Rebel are expecting. I’m putting my bet on an April 21st whelp and 5 pups in the litter judging from that belly size and that there was only one breeding date that took place. I’m not fully recuperated from this last River x Rebel litter of 7 pups. Seems like they just went to their homes yesterday. Of course, in time we will adjust.
Heading out on a road trip this Thursday with all three dogs and hubby as companions. Of course, they are calling for snowy and rainy weather for our travels. Still, I am looking forward to getting out to our retirement property for a visit. The pups are anticipating a trip as we are packing and arranging things. They know something is up. We will also be establishing a repour with a vet down there as we will be spending more time there in the coming months. Rosie has her appointment there on Monday for a puppy count x-ray. We’ll see how close my prediction is.
Empty Nesters
Today, the last pup from River x Rebel litter went to his new home leaving us a little melancholy. It gives us pleasure to be able to bring happiness to so many people, but the loss is still heartfelt when they go out the door.
Hello All
Blogging is new to me, so, I apologize in advance, for whatever comes next.
Recently, I decided to join the new era of the “Web”. A different approach other than just a Facebook or Instagram page and I do not Tik Tok. So let me introduce myself; I usually answer to Laurie, Yia Yia or mom. I have worked in healthcare most of my life and finally in semi-retirement I have time to blog!!! Yikes, is this intimidating… There is so much to talk about yet I’m not sure where to start. I hope to show off our newest litter of miniature labradoodle pups and also talk about the world of essential oils with our dogs, and also our people. Disclaimer, I am not a vet, but I do use certified pure grade essential oils in our program, and yes, in our home. I can only tell you from our own experiences the benefits we have seen when combined with western medicine.
Today, it is cold outside here in the northeast USA, and so I am diffusing a calming blend as I watch the snow fall. In hindsight, it should have been an encouraging blend, so as to get me behind that snow shovel sooner. Oh well, the pups and I enjoyed some “chill” time. Well, they enjoyed more chill time than I, as they are messy little buggahs and no sooner is that pen clean than… oh you know where I’m headed with this.
